Hello folks. A short post.
After two years of hiatus from practice work and a drop in recurring fee income, I do not know where to start.
I am working on finding the highly motivated small practice owner that I once was.
The actions I took in the past to get my practice from zero fee to a level that I considered good, I am not sure will work now. I am out of date on marketing.
It is not helped by my recent real dislike for social media.
I am also looking into taking on outside marketing help. The problem is trying to assess who would bring a decent return on investment. Talk is cheap and easy.
Marketing is a wide term. I am talking about digital marketing. I see it as follows:
- SEO
- Blogs
- Social Media
- Google Ads
- Own website
Note to self, advice from the past me:
- Plan
- Sytemise
- Market – SEO, Google Ads, Networking,
- Staff motivation – a motivated team is a productive team
- Delegate delegate delegae
- Put client satisfaction centre to everything you do for the practice. All your actions should revolve around this key aspect.
- Client surveys?
- KPIs?
- Referrals
Maybe join some mailing lists. I’ve been following Karen Reyburn and her emails are really good.
Hello Nisha, thank you for the suggestion. I will subscribe to Karen Reyburn’s newsletters.
I hope all is well with you.
