When I go back and read my blogs, I say to myself, “How boring, could you not be more interesting and write better?” Then I say to myself; I am not writing for a living, so I do not need to be good.
Further, let’s face I do not have much of a readership to worry about. Though my increasing click rate surprises me.
I have come to the conclusion that blogging, like anything else, takes practice. A person is bound to improve after a period of time. I think I have improved. Though I have a long way to go for me to be happy with my writing.
More importantly, I blog on areas that I feel strongly about. I could not do it otherwise. So the bottom line is even if I remain unhappy with my writing I will carry on with blogging in 2015.
I normally blog at the end of the day. As long as I get all my key thoughts on a page after this I am not that bothered. I am too exhausted to edit. It will be the same in 2015!
